Prof. Dr. Abraham Ipe is a highly experienced ophthalmologist with more than four decades in the field, including extensive service in India and abroad. He completed his M.S. in Ophthalmology from M&J Western Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Ahmedabad, followed by a Fellowship in Medical Retina. He later acquired an M.B.B.S from Kottayam Medical College and postgraduate training in Medical Services Management from the American Institute of Medical Practice.
Dr. Abraham has served as Professor and Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla, where he guided postgraduates and mentored more than 100 MBBS students annually. He has worked as Senior Consultant at Kallada Eye Care Hospital, Thiruvalla, and previously held consultant positions at renowned hospitals including RUWI Hospital Muscat (Sultanate of Oman), Lake Shore Hospital Kochi, and Dr. George Memorial Hospital Pathanamthitta.
He is well-known for his clinical expertise, surgical skill, and commitment to medical education. With rich experience in cataract and medical retina services, he continues to offer compassionate, high-quality eye care to patients.
